- Sales Leadership: Leading, motivating, and training the sales team to meet and exceed sales volume and gross profit targets.
- Market Analysis: Utilizing data and inventory management tools (e.g., vAuto, Dealertrack) to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.
- Operations & Compliance: Overseeing vehicle reconditioning, managing the departmental budget, and ensuring all processes comply with federal and state regulations.
- Customer Satisfaction: Interacting with customers and sales staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and resolve complex issues.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience in automotive sales or management, with specific experience in used car operations, is typically required.
- Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are vital for managing a team and interacting with various stakeholders.
