What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Helper / General Laborer position at DOWLING CONSTRUCTION, INC.?
We are a small, family owned & operated Construction company looking to add a member to our Team. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, eager to learn individual that is willing to work hard and show up for work every day who's a fast learner and can follow instructions.
Work to include (but not limit to): Assisting with specified duties involving physical labor at our shop and/or other property locations (company vehicle provided to and from our shop). Miscellaneous yard work such as mowing, weeding, clean-up and general maintenance of our properties. Organizing & cleaning of our shop, picking up materials, hauling equipment and running errands when needed. Operating hand and power tools of all types, lawn mowers & construction equipment.
Experience Desired:
Experience doing yard work and building maintenance would be helpful, but we are willing to train. You must have a valid driver’s license, be able to read a ruler and use hand tools, be physically able to perform job (climb ladders, lift & pull 50 lbs. etc.).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
