- Stainless amp; Aluminum welding, preparation and finishing.
- Structural fabrication tasks using band saw, drill press, iron worker, grinders, etc.
- Sheet metal fabrication tasks such as shearing, punching, braking different types of stainless steel/aluminum sheet and shapes.
- Ability to read engineered drawings, make dimensional calculations and have a good overall sense of drawing requirements.
- Creative ability to help provide custom solutions to fabrication challenges.
- Ability to use a variety of hand, air, and electric tools.
- Must be mechanically inclined and be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulations.
- Responsible for personal safety and those around him/her including participation and involvement in Safety, Quality and Activities Committees.
- Maintain company standards for quality.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly shop and work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills amp; Ability:
- A minimum of 2 years substantial experience in Welding/Fabrication/Mechanical Assembly.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Construction experience is a plus.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
- Ability to work on multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Dependable attendance.
- Must have manual dexterity to operate welders and other tools.
- Ability to work for long periods of time and withstand repetitive motion (up to 10 hours a day with lunch and breaks).
Office Location and Travel:
This position is in Wasilla, AK
Minimal travel may be required.

Working Environment amp; Conditions:
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a manufacturing environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit or stand for extended periods of time. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
