POSITION: Union High School Math Teacher
REQUIREMENTS:
- Michigan teaching certificate in Math (EX)
- Must meet NCLB Highly Qualified status
- Willingness to support students in a resource lab setting
PREFERENCES:
- Understanding of the high school concept
- Knowledge or the ability to apply Technology to instructional structure
- Ability to work with a diverse racial and cultural student population
- Willingness/demonstrated ability to effectively work in teams
- Knowledge of Michigan standards/benchmarks and Common Core Standards
- Understanding of current instructional strategies, including Differentiated Instruction and general education accommodations and modifications
- Knowledge of data disaggregation and application to targeted assistance for general education students
- Knowledge of RTI and interventions
