Position Description
Job Title: Furnace Operator First Shift - Rotating 12 hours: 5:00 am to 5:00 pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities are listed by level of order of importance.
- Prepare recipe for batch to be processed.
- Conduct gas checks as is outlined and appropriate.
- Log all readings and recordings.
- Load and unload furnaces per recipe and alarm.
- Provide additional support to setting as is time warranted.
- Complete all process step acknowledgements or quality holds.
- Every other weekend is required as this is a rotating shift.
Qualifications:
- Basic reading and math comprehension.
- Must be able to stand for an 8 or 12 hour shift.
- Intermittent lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Must pass safety training and adhere to safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Stable work history.
- Able to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening.
5:00 am to 5:00 pm, two days on, two days off. Three days on, three days off, repeat.
