About the Role As the Head of Employee Communications, you will partner with the SVP, Corporate Communications to lead a team in deepening connections between our colleagues around the world and our company’s mission, strategy and priorities. You’ll develop and drive Employee Communications efforts in support of a wide range of initiatives including: business updates, change management programs and other People led efforts. You will interact with colleagues and leaders at all levels. You will provide counsel, shape messaging objectives, plans and tactics to ensure that all employee messaging is aligned and coordinated, across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller and culture shaper who has strong team management skills and experience working in close partnership with senior leadership, especially People teams, to develop and execute world-class internal communications programs. Above all, you will be part of a dynamic, global communications team that has a passion for creating content that engages, informs and educates our colleagues. You Will Report to the SVP, Corporate Communications and be based in our New York City Office Collaborate with the broader People team (i.e., Talent, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development) to effectively communicate enterprise-wide changes, policy rollouts, and any information relevant to employees Maintain editorial control over all employee communication channels (i.e., digital newsletters, all-hands sessions, corporate emails, etc) Assess existing communication channels and identify areas of opportunity Develop and track metrics to assess effectiveness of employee communications Work with senior executives to develop their communications, including written materials and speaking points Think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously and work with colleagues globally in a fast-paced environment Develop, deliver and target messaging to a broad audience, demonstrating an enthusiasm for creative, meaningful channel implementation You Have 15 years of professional experience in a strategic internal communications role Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to implement sound judgment Proven track record creating effective, innovative communications channels and programs Outstanding organizational and project management skills; ability to execute with speed, accuracy and efficiency Track record of working effectively and forming relationships with senior members of an organization Ability to thrive in fast paced situations by projecting confidence and authority to senior business leaders Work across functions to influence, manage, and drive communication narratives across the internal organization The ability to be a true story teller with a deep understanding and drive to foster a richly diverse, equitable and fearlessly inclusive culture through impactful communication Team management experience Exceptional writing and editing skills Crisis communications and issues management Experience in partnering across large, highly collaborative internal teams Fluency across social media channels Our Benefits Comprehensive Healthcare Plans Paid Time Off Retirement Plans Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans Education Benefits Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave Family Care Benefits Commuter Transit Program Subscription Discounts Employee Referral Program #LI - Hybrid Learn more about all our US benefits Reasonable accommodation: Dow Jones, Making Careers Newsworthy - We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
