$65,000 – $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience | Full-Time

ABOUT US

Dow Divorce Law exclusively represents husbands and fathers across New York and New Jersey. We are a growing, results-driven firm seeking a skilled Family Law Paralegal to join our team.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Family Law Paralegal with 4–7 years of hands-on NY and NJ family law experience. You will support our attorneys across all phases of litigation, from intake through resolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and discovery materials
• Manage case files, discovery, deadlines, and court calendars
• Conduct legal research and prepare summaries for attorneys
• File documents with NY and NJ courts and coordinate with courts and counsel
• Communicate professionally with clients throughout their matters

REQUIREMENTS

4–7 years of family law paralegal experience — required

Hands-on NY and NJ court experience — required

• Strong drafting, research, and case management skills
• Proficiency with legal practice management software
• Paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program preferred
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Bonus: Performance-based bonus structure

PAY TRANSPARENCY

NYC Applicants: Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law (Local Law 32 of 2022), the annual base salary range is $65,000–$90,000.

NJ Applicants: Pursuant to the NJ Pay Transparency Act (P.L. 2023, c.173, eff. June 1, 2025), the annual base salary range is $65,000–$90,000. Benefits are described above.
