Position Overview
Villa Academy seeks a visionary, data-informed Director of Enrollment to lead Villa’s
admissions and retention functions. As a key member of the Advancement and Enrollment team, the Director will lead proactive, market-informed strategic practices, collaborating with stakeholders across the community to secure mission-aligned, diverse enrollment and long-term financial sustainability. This is a full-time, leadership role reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO).
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Planning
• Design and advance a comprehensive Enrollment Action Plan with clear goals, milestones, and cross-functional ownership.
• Standardize data definitions, reporting, and governance; develop dashboards accessible to the Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees.
• Establish processes for inquiry management, application tracking, financial assistance alignment, and enrollment operations.
Outreach and Market Development
• Lead multi-channel recruitment to expand inquiries, cultivate new markets, and build educational partnerships aligned with Villa’s mission.
• Research and stay up-to-date on admission trends and best practices. Lead education of the broader team on findings.
Communications and Brand
• In partnership with the CAO, define and articulate Villa’s value proposition and
programmatic distinctions; ensure consistent, mission-aligned messaging across
channels.
• In partnership with CAO, identify campaigns/communications for various stages
of the admission funnel.
Research and Market Intelligence
• Lead ongoing enrollment research, benchmark against peers, identify market segments, and inform tuition strategy and programming decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Communicate progress to the CAO, Head of School and Board of Trustees; translate data insights into actionable strategy.
Financial Assistance
• In partnership with the Chief Financial Officer and Head of School, organize and administer Villa’s financial assistance program, awarding and communicating new and returning families’ awards packages.
Qualifications
- Proven senior-level enrollment leadership in independent schools or similarly complex K–12 programs.
- Experience designing and executing an Enrollment Action Plan with measurable KPIs.
- Strong data analytics, dashboard building, and data governance capabilities; proficient with CRM and reporting tools.
- Strategic, cross-functional collaborator with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Skilled at public speaking and presenting to diverse audiences, including the Head of School, Board of Trustees, and prospective families; committed to equity and mission alignment.
