Job Overview
At Rose Bakery, the role of a dishwasher involves supporting a fast-paced and team-oriented kitchen environment. Responsibilities include washing dishes, cleaning pots, maintaining the cleanliness of shared spaces and kitchen tools, and ensuring that food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met for a well-organized and safe kitchen. This role also supports the coffee bar program in the bakery when time allows.
Key Responsibilities.
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours.
- Sanitize the kitchen area and remove garbage regularly.
- Partner with other café staff to ensure seamless service and operation.
- Interest in the food industry and a desire to learn other kitchen/baking skills is a plus!
- Bussing, clearing tables, and making sure care and attention are paid to every dish that moves through the dish area.
- Supporting the coffee bar program during busy, peak times in the dining room.
- Display good hygiene and uphold all health and safety standards in compliance with local health codes.

Key Requirements
- Experience with industrial washing machines preferred
- Attention to detail and knowledge of sanitation rules

- Ability to write and speak English
- Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
