CHEMISTRY TEACHER
DOVER HIGH SCHOOL

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with NJ Standards for Science, covering topics in Chemistry.
Create a classroom environment that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and a growth mindset in Chemistry.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student growth and achievement in science.
Qualifications
New Jersey Teacher of Chemistry or Teacher of Physical Science certification.
Strong knowledge of the NGSS/New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS)
Ability to analyze student data to drive instruction and support student growth.
Ability to co-teach and work effectively with colleagues to support student success.
Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, assessment, classroom management, and the use of diverse and creative educational resources.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and instructional improvement.
Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction, including Google Suite and other educational platforms.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Compensation
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
$63,335 - $101,035
