What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teller (Part-Time) position at Dover-Phila Federal Credit Union?
DOVER PHILA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION is a financial services leader in Tuscarawas county and has been serving members since 1953. We have locations in Dover, New Philadelphia, Uhrichsville and Newcomerstown. We are looking for a friendly individual with a positive attitude and the desire to provide excellent customer service to fill the role of PART TIME TELLER (25-29 hours per week) at our Newcomerstown office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides a variety of transactional functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, money orders, and cash advances. Maintains and balances cash drawer and reconciles discrepancies. Supports management and other staff through a variety of tasks as required. Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served. Adheres to all Dover Phila Federal Credit Union policies and procedures. Maintains positive, cooperative relations with members, coworkers, management and the general public. Assists members with use of mobile app and online banking. Sales goals are not used at DPFCU.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 3 years customer service experience (preferred)
- Teller experience (preferred)
- Proficient computer and math skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized work area and professional appearance
- Bilingual English/Spanish (a plus)
- Ability to work branch hours including at least 2 Saturdays per month.
- Ability to work at other offices if needed.
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged standing and sitting, frequent use of hands to manipulate/grasp objects, ability to communicate face to face, via messaging and on the phone, occasional bending and lifting, frequent forward reach.
