Shipping and Receiving Clerk

The main role of this position is to assist with unloading deliveries, receiving products and comparing to packing slips and receiving them in DATS. The Shipping and Receiving Technician will be responsible for tracking deliveries and troubleshooting order issues with suppliers. The Shipping and Receiving Technician will also work at the counter and make sales to walk-up customers. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to multitask and move independently between counter sales, receiving duties, and shipping supervisor or manager requests.

Responsibilities
 Shipping and Receiving daily UPS and truck freight

 Creating Purchase Orders

 Order shop supplies as needed

 Enter parts on individual jobs

 Count and correct inventory

 Make new jobs in DATS

 Build crates

 Interact with customers at the counter and process payments

 Interact with DHI employees

 Respond to Customers and fellow DHI employees by email, by phone and in person

 Quote and price custom customer crates and skids and enter in DATS & Reqlogic

 Make and quote hose jobs

 Operate forklift

 Replace broken tools for employees

 Pull inventory for jobs

Desired Requirements
 Minimum High School Diploma and/or Trade or Technical Schooling in Mechanic or Mechanical based program,

 Knowledge of DATS and computer systems,

 willingness to learn Reqlogic or other software,

 EXCELLENT communication skills,

 ability to work well with others,

 ability to work well under pressure
