Manufacturing Engineering Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering intern to support the development of standardized work instructions for on-gong projects. This role will work closely with technicians and engineers to translate real-world processes into structured documentation using company templates.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Manufacturing and Test Engineers and Technicians to understand current processes and workflows
• Observe and document step by step procedures on the production floor
• Convert document notes and informal instructions into Lean standardized work
• Capture photos and visuals to support written instructions
• Revise and update processes based on production team feedback
• Help identify gaps and in existing processes
• Maintain organized records of all findings and documentation revisions
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to take complex information and structure it clearly for others to understand
• Willingness to ask questions and engage with personnel on the production floor
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with technical documentation, lab reports, or work instructions
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk on the production floor for extended periods of time
