What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance & Reliability Manager position at Dover Chemical Corporation?
The Maintenance & Reliability manager is responsible for the management and oversight for all aspects of the maintenance department. Includes managing the upkeep of all manufacturing and facility assets, managing maintenance budget and resources and assisting the design and installation of new equipment, systems and / or repairs. Manages the overall mechanical reliability and predictive/preventative maintenance programs as well as designing and implementing long-term continuous improvement applications.
Will manage and develop a proactive maintenance process and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation while simultaneously leading, supervising the maintenance personnel to ensure plant facilities and equipment are properly maintained and repaired to optimize plant operations. Ensure safe work practices and procedures are observed. Utilize internal AX (ERP) operating system.
The incumbent also will back up the Reliability Engineer and Storeroom/CMMS Administrator. Knowledge and the ability to perform these roles improves organizational robustness and security in the Maintenance department.
