Essential Job Duties:
- Complete comprehensive Nursing Assessments and assist in creating goals, objectives, and interventions for the treatment plan
- Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that quality services are provided to patients in the Partial and Intensive Outpatient Programs
- Work closely with the Provider to submit medication requests or changes in medication and ensure that medication reconciliation forms are up to date with the most recent changes.
- Develop a therapeutic relationship with patients using strong communication skills
- Complete all documentation timely, accurately and in accordance to nursing standards/facility policies and procedures
- Participate in hospital emergency codes necessary to the unit’s and the hospital’s safe operation
- Comply with safety and security policies and procedures, including those regarding incidents and injuries. Documents and reports incidents and injuries appropriately
- Assist patients in self-administering of medications as prescribed by physician in a safe, accurate and timely manner utilizing the “Five Rights” of medication administration
- Current license to practice nursing in the State of Delaware (or eligible to receive or renew).
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
