Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Pre-Owned Car Sales Associate to join our family-owned dealership. This role is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle needs, and matching them with the right pre-owned vehicles while providing a friendly, honest, and transparent buying experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers on the lot and respond to inquiries.
- Listen to customer needs and recommend vehicles that meet their budget and preferences.
- Present vehicles, highlight features, and conduct test drives.
- Clearly explain pricing, financing options, and vehicle history.
- Maintain product knowledge on available inventory and incoming units.
- Keep the lot organized, clean, and presentable.
- Take photos and create online listings when needed.
- Prepare sales paperwork and assist customers through the entire buying process.
- Follow up with leads and previous customers to build relationships and repeat business.
- Work closely with management to meet monthly sales goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience preferred but not required.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Basic computer and phone skills.
Work Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Compensation: Base pay biweekly plus commission.
Work Environment: Family-owned used-car lot with a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere.
