As the RN - Regional Clinical Reimbursement (MDS) Coordinator, you will:
- collaborate with facility and regional leadership teams to ensure excellent quality of care
- provide direct support, education, and training to facility MDS Coordinators to ensure accurate coding
- review and coordinate PDPM to ensure appropriate reimbursement
- support RAI process
- serve as resource to the Medicare program
- perform routine reviews of case mix
- participate in Medicare meetings / case mix review meetings
- participate in quality assurance programs and identify opportunities for improvement
- current Wisconsin licensure as a registered nurse
- previous long term care experience, minimum of 10 years
- previous experience as an MDS coordinator required, including knowledge of RAI, CMI, and PDPM
- excellent communication and time management skills
- ability to travel throughout the State of Wisconsin
- CMAC certification preferred
