Role Description This is a part-time remote Therapist role providing telehealth psychotherapy services to a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. The Therapist will conduct intake assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide ongoing individual and family therapy using evidence-based approaches. Daily tasks include maintaining clear and timely clinical documentation, coordinating care with other providers when appropriate, and upholding ethical and professional standards of practice. The role also involves collaborating with the practice owner and colleagues, participating in case consultation as needed, and contributing to a warm, inclusive practice culture. Scheduling offers some flexibility, with the expectation of consistent availability to support clients’ therapeutic continuity.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist) in the relevant state and eligibility to provide telehealth services.
- Demonstrated skills in individual, child, adolescent, and family therapy, including building strong therapeutic alliances and using evidence-based interventions.
- Experience or strong interest in working with children, teens, and individuals on the Autism Spectrum, with an affirming and strengths-based approach.
- Competence in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, including risk assessment and appropriate safety planning.
- Ability to maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in an electronic health record and follow privacy and confidentiality regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote practice setting.
- Comfort with telehealth platforms and basic technology skills needed for secure video sessions and remote work.
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
- Experience in private practice or outpatient settings is beneficial; training or interest in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care is a plus.
