DTI Trucks is a locally owned and operated, used commercial truck dealership that has been in business for 20 years. We have one of the largest inventories of used commercial trucks in the western region and have many other offerings. In addition, to our sales force, we offer further services such as fabrication, parts, equipment, etc. We have many long-term employees and a very low turnover rate. There are always opportunities for training and advancement within the company.
We are currently hiring a new parts salesperson with hopes of becoming a long term member of our team. DTI Trucks has a thriving parts department with the largest medium-duty truck salvage yard in Colorado with over 350 trucks in inventory with the ability to ship nationwide.
Job Description:
High paced truck part sales environment that is driven by a knowledgeable and resourceful team of employees. You will be required to sell and negotiate with customers both in person and over the phone. Sales and customer service skills are a must. Additionally, this job exceeds simply sitting behind a desk and offers a more hands on sales experience that our customers have grown to appreciate. The ability to diagnose trucks and perform basic mechanical skills will help you succeed.
Your job duties will include the following:
• Selling parts (Local and to out of state Customers)
• Running Facebook and Craigslist ads for parts
• Diagnosing trucks and Advertising New Inventory
• Data input of inventory
• Booking freight and UPS
Requirements The ideal candidate:
• Fluent in English. Spanish is preferred but not required
• Diesel engine background
• Clean driver’s license
• Computer Proficient (Microsoft Office)
• Motivated self-starter, reliable with a positive attitude
• Professional communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Familiar with forklifts and other equipment
