Residential Plumbing Apprentice/Yard Assistant

APPLICANT MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A CRIMINAL, DRIVING AND DRUG SCREEN.

Douglas & Son Services is a family owned and operated plumbing, heating, air conditioning and gas works company servicing Washington, D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia. We are looking for hard working, skilled, talented and outgoing individuals to join our growing team.

We are currently seeking an individual with the desire to learn the plumbing trade as well as assist with yard/ warehouse work.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with water heater installations, drain cleaning, and other plumbing tasks
• Pull job material and help load service trucks
• Perform basic yard work including mowing, weeding, mulching, edging, and general landscaping maintenance
• Assist with other projects and tasks as needed around our properties and job sites

Training Opportunity:

We are willing to provide on the job training to the right candidate. You will learn how to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems using high-quality products while following safe work practices. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable skills in the plumbing and gas fitting trades.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
