REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 60 semester hours of college credits (must provide official transcripts)
- Valid Illinois Licensure with Stipulations or Illinois Teaching Certificate or 90-day sub certificate
- Ability to work under the supervision of a classroom teacher
- Concern and care for young children
- Ability to be a "self-starter" and anticipate needs and jobs
- Physical and TB test
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of materials, learning centers, bulletin boards
- Lunchroom and playground supervision
- Direction of quiet time activities
- Learning center and small group supervision
- Helping children with personal needs
- Preparation of snacks
- Story time (read to the children)
- Provide help in disciplinary matters
- Clerical duties and testing
- Perform other duties as assigned
