This is a 205-day leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the district's food service program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals to students while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Position: The Food Service Director provides strategic and operational leadership for the district's food service program with responsibility for ensuring Food Service program is in compliance with Federal and State standards.This 205-day position oversees all aspects of food service operations, including menu planning, budgeting, procurement, inventory management, staff supervision, program development, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will foster a safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation that supports student health, wellness, and academic achievement. Responsibilities include managing food service personnel, overseeing meal production and distribution, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, preparing and submitting required state and federal reports, and ensuring compliance with all applicable school nutrition regulations. The Director will collaborate closely with the Business & Operations Manager, and district leadership to support facility needs, equipment planning, staffing, operational improvements, and long-term program development. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and financial management skills, along with knowledge of school nutrition programs, procurement requirements, and food service operations.
