Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and professionalism.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Operate dental imaging equipment and interpret results accurately to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Document all patient interactions meticulously within the practice management software Eaglesoft.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry procedures to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during treatments.
- Stay current on advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and related specialties to continually improve clinical skills.
Qualifications
- Valid state dental license with eligibility for licensure as an Associate General Dentist.
- 1-2 years clinical experience is preferred. Welcome new grads to apply for the position and am willing to mentor and train the right candidate.
- Proficiency with Practice management software Eaglesoft is desirable. User-friendly software, willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical imaging techniques.
- Skilled in performing routine restorative dentistry, crown and bridge work, dental extractions and pediatric dentistry.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly.
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient medical records and documentation.
