What are the responsibilities and job description for the Valet Supervisor position at Douglas Parking?
Overview:
The Valet Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day supervision of all operational activities assigned to them for their assigned parking facility, including but not limited to, valet operations, functionality of parking equipment, and personnel supervision, etc. The Valet Supervisor assures courteous and efficient delivery of service to our parking customers. Effectively reports to higher-level managers of any issues, suggestions, and problem solutions.
Duties:
- Ability to valet park vehicles.
- Maintain a positive customer service relationship with our internal and external customers, providing regular facility updates and recommendations.
- Training and coaching staff daily. Ensuring compliance with company policies and rules.
- Oversee staffing and schedules.
- Escalate property issues, parker issues, personnel issues to Manager.
- Other related tasks, as needed.
Requirements:
2 years of Supervisor experience
- Customer service experience.
- Communicate with others to effectively.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for periods of 2 hours or more and run as necessary.
- Reliable transportation to and from the site location frequently/daily.
- Train and motivate frontline staff to provide the best customer service experience for all patrons of the facility.
- Team player mentality and willingness to jump in on things outside of their job description.
- High School diploma required.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday; 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Rate of Pay:
- $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
