Responsibilities
- Process all documents for in and out of state registration, title, and tax remittance for all vehicles sold.
- Follow through in ensuring all paperwork is properly completed prior to submission to perfect all data.
- Responsibility for all registrations, plates, titles, MSO’s and accounts for new and pre-owned vehicles for both locations.
- Responsibility and accountability in correcting errors.
- Obtain and maintain all MSO’s for each dealership.
- Obtain, maintain, and reconcile all titles for each dealership.
- Maintain and reconcile Motor Vehicle, COD, and Out of State sales tax schedules through the processing of deal.
- Process and maintain title work for wholesale transactions.
- Build and maintain all necessary logs, reports, and compliance paperwork.
- Follow up and follow through on obtaining missing paperwork.
- Data entry of all transactions including registration processing, MV, and tax remittance.
- Prepping, scanning, and filing each deal for archiving.
- Ability to foresee and correct course on conflicts.
- General office administrative work to support upper management and overall business.
- Other office tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Grandfathered state personal control number OR NJ MV e-Course certificate required.
- Expert in Motor Vehicle rules and regulations required.
- Automotive and Automotive Accounting experience preferred.
- Ability to be punctual and present.
- Ability to handle multitasking with ease and urgency.
- Ability to keep focus, prioritize, stay on task, be reliable and responsible.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Eagerness to improve, expand, and fill the shift with work.
- Self motivated to be honest and transparent.
- Willingness to take initiative in group and individual settings
- Computer literacy, quality writing and Microsoft Office knowledge
- Ability to support, compliment, and contribute to small office atmosphere.
