Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for residents and patients, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards

• Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed

• Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus and specials

• Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and special requests

• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 0-2 years of experience as a cook in a healthcare setting (or equivalent experience)

• Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends

• Knowledge of nutrition and food safety principles

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift, bend, and move equipment and supplies as needed
