Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Class A CDL Delivery Drivers for local beverage delivery routes. This is a physical, touch-freight position requiring drivers to actively unload and deliver cases at customer locations.
Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, DOT Medical Card, and at least 2 years of commercial driving experience. A Doubles/Triples Endorsement is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned local routes.
- Deliver and physically unload beverage cases at customer locations.
- Work with driver helpers to complete routes safely and efficiently.
- Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Properly secure and protect freight during transportation.
- Provide professional customer service at delivery locations.
- Verify and report overages, shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
- Complete required delivery paperwork and documentation.
- Immediately report accidents, equipment damage, or safety concerns.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL – Required
- Valid DOT Medical Card – Required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Doubles/Triples Endorsement – Preferred
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to repeatedly lift and handle 50 lb. cases
- Comfortable with heavy touch freight and repetitive unloading
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Smartphone required
Pre-Employment Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete applicable background, MVR, CDL/employment verification, and DOT drug testing requirements. Safety-sensitive employees are subject to random DOT drug and alcohol testing throughout employment.
