Act as receptionist and perform clerical duties including answering the telephone, routing incoming and outgoing mail, printing academic transcripts for students, etc.Serve as information liaison between students and district employees. Order, receive, and distribute inventory as coordinated with class and club advisors.Manage reporting functions as required, including state reports. Establish and maintain files and records, including correspondence and personnel records.Maintain student body accounts: entering purchase orders, fundraising, and track supplies per account.Contacts substitutes for licensed and classified staff that are absent.Prepare rooms and reports needed for substitutes. Dispense medication in accordance with district policy and administer first aid to students.Responsible for updating and maintaining students academic records, attendance, schedules, and discipline.Overseeing the student admissions/registration processRequest and obtain records for new students.Track graduation processUpdate and determine graduation eligibilityImmunization records tracking and reporting.Responding to transcript requests and education verifications.Maintain records for existing and prior students.Organize annual health screening of students.Facilitate OSAC Transcript uploads and verification.Sports Secretary: maintain records for student athletes, coach travel books, first aide kits, eligibility in conjunction with the Athletic Director, and prepare travel funds.
Coordinate all high school vehicle usage and verify certification of van and bus drivers. Ensure compliance with all staff, coaches, and volunteers Safe Schools and background checks. Maintains confidentiality of work-related information.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSAssociate's degree (A.A.) or minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting and district office work experience is preferred. Employees must be highly proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and other software applications as appropriate.
