- Conduct regular inspections of cells, common areas, and perimeter fences to uphold safety standards.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies using first aid skills, CPR, or law enforcement procedures as necessary.
- Write detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly.
- Manage access control by verifying identities of visitors, staff, and contractors while maintaining strict security protocols.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents to ensure proper procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, security operations, or related fields demonstrating strong discipline and situational awareness.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, report writing standards, conflict management strategies, and emergency response procedures.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, or other relevant emergency response training are highly desirable.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with inmates, colleagues, and external agencies.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols, inspections, and respond rapidly during emergencies.
