Role Description The Mathematics Teacher is a full-time, on-site role located in Gardnerville, NV. Our students complete coursework through an online curriculum while receiving individualized instruction, intervention, and encouragement from teachers who are willing to meet students where they are academically and personally. Success at ASPIRE isn't measured only by test scores—it's measured by relationships built, confidence restored, credits earned, and lives changed.
Qualifications
- Strong content knowledge in Mathematics and formal preparation in Mathematics Education.
- Demonstrated ability in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development aligned to standards.
- Status as a Qualified Teacher with appropriate Nevada teaching licensure or eligibility.
- Effective classroom management, student engagement, and differentiation skills.
- Ability to use instructional technology and data to inform teaching practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; advanced degree in mathematics or education is a plus.
- Experience teaching middle or high school mathematics preferred.
