This position is responsible for transporting public, senior citizens, and residents with disabilities to and from various locations within Douglas County. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a vehicle to pick up and drop off passengers, as well as providing assistance to individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle
- Drive to and from various locations following a pre-established schedule or on an on-call basis
- Stop at designated locations to pick up and drop off passengers
- Assist passengers with disabilities in embarking and disembarking from the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
Requirements:
- Nevada Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- First Aid, AED, Effects and Consequences of Prohibited Drug Use and CPR certification within three (3) months of date of employment
- Ability to lift materials weighing up to 20 pounds
- Stamina to sit for extended periods of time
