Fulltime Hourly
Work Schedule - may include days, nights, week-ends and holidays.
Salary Range - $18.41 to $32.03

Fulltime hourly Maintenance Assistant. Under the general direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, works as an important part of the Maintenance team. Performs a variety of unskilled to semiskilled maintenance tasks including inspection, repair and upkeep of various buildings, grounds, pools, pool equipment and other facilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representiative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Effectively present information and respond to questions from people within and outside of the Knowledge of safely and effectively performing semi-skilled maintenance and construction work related to water testing/treatment systems in an efficient manner. Knowledge of safe operation and maintenance of specialized tools and equipment related to collection systems construction, maintenance, and repair. Developing an awareness of potentially hazardous situations on the job site and reporting potential safety violations. Safely using and maintaining hand and power tools related to the work. Maintaining accurate records of work performed. Ability to read and interpret manuals, specifications, drawings and blueprints. Ability to estimate necessary materials, parts and equipment to complete assignments. CVSC; speak effectively before groups; ability to establish and maintain good work relationships.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, handle, feel, reach, see, talk and hear. Must have mobility to navigate office, pool, multi level shop, outdoor areas. Must be able to use tools, equipment and drive a motor vehicle. Ability to climb to a height of 40 feet. The employee must regularly lift and/or carry up to 100 pounds.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Moving mechanical parts; inside & outside, wet and humid conditions, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles and chemicals, exposed to risk of electrical shock and high noise level.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and/or three (3) years of increasingly responsible journey-level experience in mechanical work, plant operations or facility maintenance and repair.
