CRT Clinician (Community Response Team)

The Community Response Team (CRT) is a collaborative Co-Responder crisis intervention program serving individuals throughout Douglas County who are experiencing mental health, substance use or school-based crises. CRT brings together behavioral health professionals, law enforcement, resource specialists and community partners to provide compassionate, timely support when individuals and families need it most.

As a CRT Clinician, you will work side-by-side with an assigned law enforcement partner, responding together in a law enforcement vehicle to crisis situations throughout the community. In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will provide clinical and crisis assessments, help stabilize individuals in crisis, connect people with appropriate resources and services and collaborate with a wide network of community partners.

The CRT operates seven days a week, with shifts scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Most teams follow a 4x10 schedule, though exact hours vary by team. Specific shift details, including assigned team schedules, will be discussed during the interview process.

Generally, the hiring range is $68,953 - $86,191, annually. Qualifications, education and experience as it relates to the position will be taken into consideration when determining hiring salary.

A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work and at least 2 years of treatment experience in a mental health setting is required. Must be licensed or pending licensure with supervision (LPC, LMFT, LCSW). Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License upon hire, with complying insurance. The ideal candidate must have crisis experience. Experience working or partnering with law enforcement is a plus. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
