Our company is licensed in 11 states, and this job requires movement throughout. The projects typically last from 4 weeks to 5 months per site. During this travel, lodging is provided.
Duties
- Lead and supervise aconstruction project, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Coordinate project schedules
- Manage subcontractors, crews, and vendors by providing clear direction, supervision, and performance feedback to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction drawings to interpret project requirements accurately.
- Oversee construction safety management
- Monitor project budgets to keep projects financially on track.
- Collaborate closely with project managers on change orders, and managing project documentation
- Facilitate communication among management teams, clients, architects, and field personnel to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
- Review construction schedules regularly for coordination of activities and timely completion of milestones; adjust plans as needed for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial restaurant construction management with a strong background in supervising teams and coordinating vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.
- Skilled in project scheduling and cost control measures
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing crews and subcontractors effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for managerial roles—able to coordinate teams clearly and manage client relationships professionally.
- Construction site experience in commercial projects with a focus on quality control and schedule coordination is highly preferred.
