Organizational Relationship: Reports directly to the Area Supervisor 

Job Type: Full-Time Onsite

Shift: 1^st Shift Monday – Friday (7a-3:30p) Overtime may be required based on customer needs and deadlines. (Occasional weekends)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team. As a member of our Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for reading prints, cutting, bending, fitting, and welding. The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of a team and on their own to successfully meet production requirements and deadlines. Must also be able to adapt to changing work requirements.

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum parts and products according to blueprints and specifications
• Fabricate and assemble aluminum parts and products using various tools and equipment
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet industry standards and customer requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction

 Required Education and Experience: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of Aluminum TIG Welding experience
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
• Metal Identification
• Strong attention to detail 
• Communication skills
• Ability to lift over 70lbs as needed
• Basic mathematical skills
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English

 Additional Skills, Physical Requirements, and Competencies: 

• Ability to multitask 
• Prior marine industry machining is a plus 
• Marine Fabrication is a plus
• Stainless Steel Tig Welding
• Pipe Bending
• Cutting, coping and fitting pipe
• Fixture building
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include dust masks, gloves, safety glasses
• Can work in a hot and humid non-climate-controlled environment
• Ability to work in a fast paced, noisy environment
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member
• Follow safety and health standards – use of protective equipment as required
• Ability to work 8 hour day shifts (sitting, standing, bending and reaching) and moderate lifting up to 50 lbs.
