Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma.
- Three (3) years of verifiable experience in the custodial field and extensive knowledge of custodial duties.
- Possess a valid Georgia driver's license.
- Must be able to physically perform standard tasks of the position.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
- Cleans and maintains restrooms.
- Cleans and maintains classrooms.
- Cleans and maintains administrative offices and related areas.
- Performs minor building maintenance as required.
- Takes responsibility for the proper care and use of equipment and supplies.
- Responsible for installation or removal of televisions from mounts, cabinets, ca rts.
- Cleans equipment after each use so that it will be ready for the next task.
- Cares for school grounds and lawns
- Attends training classes as required
- Disposes of garbage and trash as needed
- Transports teaching supplies and equipment as directed. All Supplies, equipment, or furniture will be delivered to a centralized pre-determined location. Outside delivery/pick: up drivers/crews will not deliver items within the school, nor, will they pick-up from within the school. This policy will ensure the delivery sources will not disrupt classes or school atmosphere.
- Replaces light bulbs as necessary.
- Performs other assignments as directed by the building principal or the head custodian.
