Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their product selections, answering questions with clarity and enthusiasm
- Implement effective upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities and promote featured products or promotions
- Manage pricing displays accurately, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and promotional offers are clearly communicated
- Drive company vehicles safely along designated routes for merchandising, restocking, or delivery purposes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Conduct routine route driving to ensure timely delivery of products and maintain organized merchandising displays on the sales floor
- Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, arranging displays, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment
- Handle heavy lifting of merchandise safely while following proper ergonomic practices to prevent injury
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to coordinate daily tasks and share customer feedback
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
- Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling pricing, transactions, and inventory counts accurately
- Knowledge of sales techniques and upselling strategies to boost revenue
- Valid driving license with experience in commercial driving or route driving preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a retail environment
- Organizational skills for managing stock levels, merchandising displays, and route schedules
- Familiarity with merchandising standards and store presentation best practices
- Experience in military or disciplined environments is a plus, demonstrating reliability and strong work ethic
