Doug Egner Plumbing & Medical Gas LLC is looking for an experienced TRAVELING Medical Gas Installer, specifically in healthcare. Candidate MUST have ASSE 6010 Medical Gas Certification.

Salary: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour

Location: Florida

Job Overview:

Doug Egner Plumbing & Medical Gas LLC is seeking an experienced Traveling Medical Gas Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, fitting and brazing all medical gas components in the medical gas system, ensuring compliance with all medical gas codes and regulations.

This position requires frequent travel, so we are looking for a self-driven, safety-conscious professional who can work while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of medical gas piping systems in healthcare facilities.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NFPA 99 standards and medical gas codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot medical gas system issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools required.
  • Work independently and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
  • Maintain high safety standards and ensure compliance with all OSHA and industry regulations.
  • Travel to various job sites as required.

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience in healthcare Medical Gas installations.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the NFPA 99 codes and regulations.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs and climb ladders.
  • Self-driven and ability to work safely and independently

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of medical gas installations and NFPA 99 standards
  • Knowledge of medical gas codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work on your own to complete requested tasks.
  • TRAVELING IS A MUST.
  • Per Diem for overnight stays

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday – Friday
  • Saturday and Sunday are required as needed

  • Serving the entire state of Florida
  • Multi-state projects including work outside Florida
  • Traveling is Required
  • Per Diem for overnight stays
