Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and materials handling. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
Duties
- Manage inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels.
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain organization within the warehouse.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Support shipping & receiving operations by preparing orders for daily deliveries.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with knowledge of warehouse distribution practices.
- Experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of packaging processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for order picking and packing tasks.
