Role Description The Steel Detailer is a full-time, on-site role based in Sarasota, FL. This role is responsible for preparing accurate shop drawings and detailed plans for steel structures and custom metal components, ensuring all specifications align with project requirements and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural drawings, coordinating with project managers and fabrication teams, and producing clear, buildable details for fabrication and installation. The Steel Detailer collaborates closely with engineers, designers, and shop personnel to resolve technical issues, optimize fabrication processes, and maintain consistency across projects. The role also involves updating documentation, maintaining version control, and supporting quality checks to ensure that all deliverables meet safety and performance requirements.
Qualifications
