Job Summary: The Busser is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area by clearing tables, assisting servers, and ensuring the restaurant meets high sanitation standards. This role plays a key part in providing efficient service to guests and contributing to a positive dining experience.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils in a timely and efficient manner.
- Clean and reset tables for the next guest, ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
- Refill water glasses and provide additional service support as required.
- Carry dishes, trays, and glassware to the dishwashing area.
- Ensure all service stations are stocked with necessary supplies throughout the shift.
- Follow proper sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages.
- Assist with restaurant setup and breakdown during opening and closing shifts.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to assist servers and provide excellent guest service.

- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Work Environment:
- Primarily an indoor environment with frequent standing and walking required throughout the shift.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and handle repetitive physical tasks such as clearing and resetting tables.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
