Job summary
We are currently seeking a dependable and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our guest services team. This entry-level hospitality position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, solving problems, and creating positive guest experiences.
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, answering inquiries, and ensuring smooth front desk operations throughout each shift. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and able to remain calm and friendly in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Greet guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Assist with reservations, room assignments, and billing
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel departments
- Maintain accurate guest records and payment information
- Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
