Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle various cleaning tasks using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines.
• Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain spotless surfaces throughout the property.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture, linens, or supplies safely and efficiently.
• Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to ensure consistency and quality standards are met consistently.
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling chemical agents and ensuring all cleaning practices comply with health regulations and hotel policies.
• Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns with excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning environments.
• Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and chemical handling procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners effectively.
• Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to perform heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude toward guests and team members.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Previous hospitality or hotel experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
