Description:
Responsible for setting, maintaining, and refreshing meeting spaces/ ballrooms according to sales contract and company standards.
Essential Functions:

- Effectively assist food and beverage service, guest attention, and overall logistics of banquet events by way of set-up, clear communication and teamwork, while maintaining the company’s standard for excellence, resulting in the overall success of banquet events.
- Uphold the highest level of customer service.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude towards guests and staff.
- Maintain a clean professional appearance and mannerism.
- Assist with set-up of tables, linens, chairs, etc. for full service of banquet events.
- Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
- Maintain back of the house, front of the house and side work duties for overall productivity of banquet events.
- Maintain positive and professional attitude.
- Maintain clear and open communication between all staff members for overall event success.
- Follow Health and Safety practices at all times.
- Complete any tasks your supervisor/manager instructs you to complete.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is an on-call position which will vary on start and end times from 5 AM until 11 AM. Must be available to work all seven days of the week and holidays.

Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be in full uniform every shift
- Set up experience preferred
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds constantly
Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)
Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
