Breakfast Server in a Hotel

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• We are looking for AM breakfast servers for our restaurant with additional shifts available for banquet events if interested.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisors and manager
• Responsible for setting up, serving, maintaining and breaking down banquet rooms based on Banquet Event Order
• Responds quickly to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Maintains prep area neat and organized
• Maintain positive and professional attitude
• Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
• Anticipate and address guests` service needs
• Ability to perform and work in a team wise environment, assist and support your co-workers
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e. g., small print).
• Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors or manager

Requirements

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift 20lbs on a regular and continuing basis and frequently lift up to 50lb with assistance, including, but not limited to, lifting trays of food or food items.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 50lb
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
