Description:
Actively sell corporate and social catering events ensuring monthly and quarterly goals are met or exceeded.
Obtain rooming list details and request deposits where applicable solicit, negotiate and confirm new business and repeat business through various efforts (lead follow up, telemarketing, direct mail, referrals, prospecting, AI generated leads) to maximize revenues to meet/exceed goals
Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, contract issuance, Banquet Event Order generation, customer correspondence)
Actively procures social and corporate business for meeting rooms which may have 0 to 15 sleeping rooms per night and will utilize function space by any and all means available including but not limited to net- working with trade associations, professional organizations, corporations, tour and travel organizations and cold calls.
Respond timely to all RFP’s submitted by CVB, lead generation tools and local agencies and associations.
Conducts tours of the facility and meets with prospective clients.
Responsible for coordinating and handling all arrangements for booked functions.
Booking of functions, appropriate menu planning, and other special needs for the group.
Responsible for communicating group activity across departmental lines within the property for the successful completion of a group stay, including but not limited to distribution of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes.
Give daily support and guidance to fellow banquet personnel. Monitor job performance to ensure a successful meeting/banquet experience by our guests.
Phone support, creating correspondence, and provide back-up support for the managers administrative staff if requested.
Other duties as assigned by Director of Sales and/or General Manager.
Weekends, Saturday and Sunday, may be required. This will be at the discretion of the Director of Sales/General Manager
Familiarization with Delphi/FDC Salesforce and PEP is highly desired
AA/BA/BS degree and two to three years’ experience in hotel sales or any similar combination of education and experience preferred
Solid sales & account managements skills are essential
Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams.

Pay: $74,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
