Key Responsibilities for the Hotel Restaurant Kitchen Dishwasher include:
Washing & Cleaning Dishes
Washing & Cleaning Dishes
- Scrubbing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Using industrial dishwashers or washing items by hand when necessary.
Maintaining Kitchen Cleanliness
- Keeping sinks, dish racks, and workstations clean and organized.
- Wiping down countertops and kitchen surfaces.
- Sweeping and mopping floors to maintain hygiene.
Handling & Organizing Dishes
- Properly stacking and storing cleaned dishes, utensils, and cookware in their designated areas.
- Ensuring that all kitchen staff have the clean tools they need to cook and serve food.
Taking Out Trash & Recycling
- Emptying trash cans, compost bins, and recycling containers regularly.
- Following restaurant waste disposal guidelines.
Following Health & Safety Standards
- Wearing gloves, aprons, and other protective gear as required.
- Ensuring dishes meet sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination.
- Reporting any broken equipment or safety hazards to management.
Keeping Up with a Fast-Paced Environment
- Working quickly and efficiently, especially during busy hours.
- Staying organized to ensure a smooth workflow for the kitchen team.
What We Are Looking for in a Hotel Restaurant Kitchen Dishwasher includes:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Exceptional ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
