The Hotel Breakfast Server is responsible for ensuring guests have a positive dining experience during breakfast service
The Hotel Breakfast Server is responsible for ensuring guests have a positive dining experience during breakfast service
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to available seating.
- Take drink and food orders if offering à la carte service.
- Answer questions about the menu and accommodate dietary restrictions when possible.
- Provide prompt and friendly service, ensuring guests have everything they need.
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet or table service area.
- Refill food, beverages, and condiments as needed.
- Deliver hot or special orders efficiently.
- Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages.
- Keep tables, counters, and the buffet area clean and well-stocked.
- Clear used dishes and reset tables quickly.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Work closely with the kitchen and hotel staff to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Break down and clean up the breakfast area after service ends.
- Store leftover food properly or dispose of waste as required.
- Prepare the area for the next service or shift.
What We are Looking for in a Part-Time Hotel Breakfast Server include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service (preferred).
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to interact professionally with guests and address their needs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to prepare and handle food safely.
