Position Summary
The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining brand standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to managing staff and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in managing all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards and local regulations.
- Drive guest satisfaction through exceptional service and attention to detail.
- Monitor financial performance, assist with budgeting, and control costs.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to maintain a high-performing workforce.
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support sales and marketing initiatives to maximize revenue.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hotel management experience, preferably in a branded property.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, financial reporting, and revenue management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in property management systems and Microsoft Office.
