Happiest in motion with a watchful eye, you welcome the brisk routine that carries you through the property, cleaning and polishing.
As the Public Area Attendant you will:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
- Maintain and clean all public areas and employee work areas. Including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing floors and furniture throughout the property.
- Empty trash in all public areas and clean public area restrooms.
- Clean all mirrors, inside of windows, wipe and dust all surfaces; keeping all brass and stainless steel shiny.
- Replenish supplies in the appropriate public areas.
- Notify Engineering or management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilation equipment.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
- Drive shuttle van when needed
Qualifications for this role include but are not limited to:
- Previous housekeeping experience an plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible and reliable.
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Valid driver's license
Physical Aspects of Position include but are not limited to:
- Constant standing and walking throughout shif.t
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
